Great River Rescue Hires Certified Veterinary Technician
Hannah Nelson joins the team as new Kennel Coordinator
Bemidji, MN – Great River Rescue, a Bemidji non-profit, has hired Hannah Nelson, a Certified Veterinary Technician, to oversee the overall health and well-being of the shelter pets. Nelson will also be responsible for managing the intake of shelter pets, maintaining proper medical records, and ensuring high quality sanitation procedures are being followed.
Previously, Nelson worked as a technician at the K-M Regional Veterinary Hospital in Kasson, Minnesota. She received her Veterinary Technician Associate in Applied Science from the Rochester Community and Technical College. Nelson begins her role as Kennel Coordinator at the shelter on August 22. In regards to her new position she stated, “I am really looking forward to working with such a great organization!”
“We are extremely excited to add Hannah to our team,” said Executive Director Brandon Mustful. “She will be a valuable addition to our team and further our ability to provide the highest quality care for every pet.”
