Walk for Animals/Bark for Life Raises $5,309!
The Walk for Animals/Bark for Life annual fundraiser held on June 11, 2017 raised a total of $5,309 for Great River Rescue and the American Cancer Society. The event included over 50 registered walkers, a cancer survivor story, a demonstration from the Red Lake K9 unit, hot dogs from Lucky Dogs, prizes, and a walk along beautiful Lake Bemidji. 2018 Calendar Photo Contest Winners
Great River Rescue’s online photo contest was a huge success! In total, there were 65 photo submissions and $4,409 were raised to support GRR’s mission of saving and caring for companion animals. The contest ran from May 1, 2017 until June 10th and the winners were announced at the Walk for Animals/Bark for Life. The top 4 vote-getters earned a spot in our 2018 Adoption Calendar. The next four won a $100 Photography by Trish gift card. Here is a list of our winners:
