Dozens of Bemidji Area Businesses Support Great River Rescue

Great River Rescue is a private, nonprofit organization that depends on the support of the community to continue its work of saving and rehoming stray and abandoned animals.  Not only does Great River Rescue receive that support from individuals who graciously donate, but also from area businesses.  Businesses contribute to our cause in a variety of ways.  Many give direct financial contributions, others donate goods and services that can be auctioned and raffled off at events, others hold supply drives or encourage their employees to give to our cause, others allow us to have a doggy bank on their front counter, while still others allow us to promote our animals and hold community events at their businesses.

We greatly appreciate these businesses and would like to recognize their contributions.  Without them, we could not be a successful animal shelter!  Admittedly, we maybe haven’t done a good enough job of recognizing those businesses over the years.  For that reason, I am writing this short blog to show you the long list of businesses that have made a difference for us in 2016.  Additionally, I want you to know that we will be reaching out to businesses even more in 2017.  As our organization strives to grow and provide even better service to our community, we will continue to need you.  Every bit of support you provide is appreciated and we plan on recognizing you in 2017 and beyond.
