Great River Rescue seeks new members

Great River Rescue is a community nonprofit organization that depends on contributions from community members to work towards accomplishing its mission. Since 1977, the organization has been governed by a volunteer Board of Directors which gets voted in by the organizational members. Currently, Great River Rescue has about 70 – 75 members, plus about 50 lifetime members.

Becoming a member at Great River Rescue is easy – according to our Bylaws, it only requires that you support the purpose of our organization and pay annual membership dues of $50. As a member, you become eligible to serve on our Board of Directors, get to vote to approve Board Members each Spring, get kept well-informed about organizational activities, and you become one of our committed supporters helping animals find new forever homes.

During the month of August, we are seeking 10 new members. The membership fee is only $50, plus each new member will receive either a Great River Rescue t-shirt or water bottle – your choice! Please join us in support of saving companion animals by becoming a member today.
