Furr Bowl a Huge Success!
Furr Bowl Fundraiser Raises over $8,000!
This year’s Furr Bowl Fundraiser event was a huge success for Great River Rescue. The event was held on Sunday, April 10 at Bemidji Bowl and included about 80 bowlers. Including all registrations, sponsorships, donations, raffle tickets, and shirt sales, the event raised $8,144! This is the most the shelter has raised at a single fundraising event in many years.
Many thanks go out to all the participants, sponsors, donors, and volunteers for this great event. A special thanks also goes to GiveGab.com, the online platform which we used for registrations and fundraising. Several supporters used GiveGab to help raise funds for the Furr Bowl by creating a fundraising page and asking family and friends to donate. We had 4 supporters who raised over $500! Many others also raised smaller amounts.
