Furr Bowl Raises Nearly $8,000!

Great River Rescue held its annual Furr Bowl fundraiser on Sunday, April 23 at Bemidji Bowl. The event, which raises needed funds and awareness to support the organization’s cause, featured two hours of bowling, pizza, raffles, and prizes for participants. About 70 GRR supporters came to this year’s event and raised a total of $7,914.22. This year’s top fundraising team was FurEver Friends with $1500 raised, and second place was First National Bank Fur Balls with $946. The top raffle prize, an autocleaning litter box valued at $650 went to Karin Hughes. Bowling winners included Team Tango for best team game, and Lindsey and Andy Hafs for best individual game.
