Great River Rescue Celebrates 40 Years of Bringing Families Together!

On Friday, June 30th, as part of the Water Carnival festivities, Great River Rescue hosted a small 40th Anniversary Celebration for the community.  The event highlighted the work of the organization in the community since 1977, and gave kids and other community members the chance to learn more about GRR.  Some of the fun activities included balloon animals, face-painting, kid’s games, and a demonstration by the Beltrami County Sheriff’s K9 Unit.  Many thanks to all our volunteers that made this event possible.  Great River Rescue will continue to celebrate its 40th year throughout 2017.
