Walk for Animals/Bark for Life Registration Now Open!

Great River Rescue’s annual Walk for Animals/Bark for Life fundraising event will take place on June 10 from 1 to 3 pm at Diamond Point Park in Bemidji. Registration for the event is $25 and includes an event t-shirt, Bark for Life Bandanna, and the opportunity to win prizes. The event will feature animal related vendors, demonstrations, a hot dog lunch, and a walk along beautiful Lake Bemidji. Funds raised from this event will benefit both Great River Rescue and the American Cancer Society.

Online Photo Contest “Pets in Action” Now Accepting Submissions

We are also hosting an Online Photo Contest featuring “Pets in Action.” Photos may be submitted through our Gogophotocontest.com site from now until May 18. Participants are encouraged to get “votes” from family and friends for their photo. The top four photos will earn a spot in our 2019 GRR Calendar! The winners will be announced at the Walk for Animals/Bark for Life on June 10.
