Registration for Petfixers Clinics Is Now Open

Registration Now Open for 2020 Spay/Neuter Clinics

Great River Rescue has announced that qualified low-income pet owners and caretakers of feral cats can now register for low-cost spay/neuter clinics. There are currently eight clinics scheduled for 2020 with the first being April 4 & 5, 2020. Services offered include spay/neuter surgeries of dogs and cats, core vaccinations, blood tests, dewormer, flea/tick treatment, and microchipping. All those interested in registering their pet(s) must complete an online registration form (found HERE) and submit a $20 non-refundable deposit which will be counted toward the final clinic payment. Registrants must complete a form and submit a deposit for each pet that will be receiving services. Registrants may sign-up for any of the clinics scheduled for the entire year. Once a clinic fills up, it will no longer be listed on the registration form. Registrants will receive confirmation from a Petfixers staff or volunteer that their information has been received and their spot at the clinic is secured.

Further information about Petfixers services and fees can be found at By providing low-cost spay/neuter services to the community, Great River Rescue hopes to continue to reduce pet overpopulation and pet homelessness. Fees charged are intended to help cover the costs of supplies, and staff to operate each clinic. Volunteers will also be heavily relied on to keep costs low. Additionally, grant funding and sponsorships are currently being sought to subsidize the fees.

I have a kitten and would be interested in getting him neutered. He already got is first set of shots and has booster shots scheduled for July 3rd. He is on a waiting list for being neutered. Are you guys doing this service?
