Procedural Update Beginning September 15, 2020

Beginning September 15, 2020, clients wishing to visit shelter animals may book appointments through our Square online booking site. Previously, clients were required to submit an online adoption application to be able to visit shelter pets. Shelter staff will review all requested appointments and confirm them. Any client that is seriously considering adopting a pet is still encouraged to submit an online application to help us match you with the best pet for you. Appointments may also be scheduled for microchips and donation drop-offs. Volunteers do not need to book appointments through the online site, but should still call ahead before arriving. We believe these updated procedures will allow the animals to receive more visits and enrichment, while still preventing unnecessary person-to-person contact and preventing the potential spread of COVID-19.
