I adopted Molly, now Maggie, in April 2015. She is the first dog I have gotten through a humane society. I happily report that she has adapted well to family life on our hobby farm. She enjoys many things – especially hanging out near our pond, playing with the grandkids, chewing on her nylabone, having her belly brushed, and simply hanging out with her family. She is a confident little dog and willing to try many new experiences like the boat ride in the picture. I want to thank the humane society for their good treatment of Maggie while she was there. I know she would not have had the confidence to begin her new life if she was traumatized or neglected while she was in transition – her spirit was kept intact and she certainly loves people!
