Bemidji Pioneer Highlights the Adoption of Butter

We have hundreds of “Happy Tails” every year at Great River Rescue.  But, some adoptions are just a little more special when you consider what an animal had to go through to get all the way home.  Butter is one of those pets that had a tough life and has finally made his way to a perfect forever home.  After 4 years as a stray, and 6 months at our shelter, Butter has found the perfect home for him.  The Bemidji Pioneer followed this story, and reported on it in a recent issue of the paper.

We thank the Willards for giving Butter a new home.  We are also grateful to all the staff and volunteers who spent their time and energy making Butter feel comfortable and helping him learn to trust people.  We thank the Bemidji Pioneer for highlighting this great story.
