Humane Society Awarded Neilson Foundation Grant
Great River Rescue has been awarded a $15,000 grant from the George W. Neilson Foundation of Bemidji. Funds from the grant will be used for a variety of purposes including purchasing computers, installing floor tiles, building an outdoor shed, and various other facilities improvements. The Neilson Foundation is a strong supporter of the shelter awarding several grants to the organization over the years, including a $38,000 grant in 2012.
