Great River Rescue Uses Innovative Tech Solution to Turn Spare Change into Meaningful Change
Bemidji, MN – May 20, 2019 – Charities have raised millions of dollars collecting spare change. Now, Great River Rescue, a nonprofit dedicated to transitioning dogs and cats to loving homes, serving as a community resource, and advocating for kind, responsible pet care is bringing that fundraising model into the 21st century.
Great River Rescue announces their partnership with Coin Up, a revolutionary mobile donation app that rounds up donor credit/debit card transactions to the nearest dollar, and donates the “spare change” directly to Great River Rescue each month.

Therefore, the organization has been focused on effectively bridging the gap to reach their mobile app users. About Great River Rescue: – Great River Rescue, a non-profit organization, was established in 1977 as the Beltrami Humane Society. Thousands of kittens, puppies, cats, and dogs have been adopted from the shelter since that time. A no-kill shelter, it can house up to 45 cats and 25 dogs and maintains a waiting list of animals to be surrendered.
